New releases of 2016 Bordeaux and more, up to 97 points, are in this week's Wine Spectator Insider, which spans the U.S., France and Austria. The 2016s are here, and they're worth your attention. Today we highlight the Right Bank, with legends of St.-Emilion as well as some high-scoring bargains, including four 93-point bottlings under $40. A mélange of Zinfandels, Pinot Noirs and other intriguing reds from California provide great value too. Plus, Austrian whites feature impressive flavors and textures mostly from the country's star grape, Grüner Veltliner.

There's precious cargo in here, including high-end, collectible Napa Cabernets as well as elite red Burgundy producers showing off the 2016 vintage with a selection of grands crus and more. Stars of Sonoma, Mendocino and more deliver Pinots with richness and refinement. Beautiful Barbaresco bottlings show off the recent 2015 vintage. Hailing from Germany, Rieslings in varying ripeness styles are ageworthy and provide good bang for your buck, including a 93-pointer for just $24. The majority of these wines cost under $100.

Wine Spectator Insider Semiannual Report: 945 wines at 92-plus points have appeared in the Insider in the second half of 2018, and they're all here! Two special wines from France and one Port scored a whopping 99 points; 14 other wines from France, Italy and Portugal rounded out the cream of the crop at 98 points. California and Oregon also came out strong, as well as discoveries from Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Spain and beyond.
